TV Streaming services

Apple TV: used to be $5 per month, bad reviews.

Disney+: $7 per month, for kids, pixar, starwars, national geographic.

HBO Max: $15 month: (expensive)

Peacock: Free, netflix shows and hulu goes to Peacock, Unclear.

Consumers choosing streaming services: 

PROS: some may have family plans which benefits the whole family so more than one person can view it. No adverts apart from prime. Some allow downloadable shows.

CONS: Some don't work without wifi so someone might need to buy more than one streaming service which could become costly. Some might not have on certain shows. Could be costly. If you download shows it will take up a lot of storage.

Explain two advantages of using a tablet device to watch a TV programme or film.

One advantage would be that a tablet is easily portable, allowing the user to watch anything anywhere. This could be more ideal for families with toddlers or small children who might want to watch something in the car. It's easier to transport since it is small and isn't connected to a cable like the TV.

The tablet works the same way as a TV but is more affordable since you don't need to pay a TV license to watch on the tablet, its also cheaper than buying a TV screen. This could be a better option if a family has more children which means they would need a few tablets so the children can watch different shows.
